Urban Decay Lip Junkie Lip Gloss in Naked

i got this as a sample when i bought my naked2 palette! i love everything about this lip gloss and i find that it actually stays on my lips for a good amount of time. i also really like that it's a super shiny lip gloss! i will definitely be buying a full size one once my sample runs out!

e.l.f. Essentials Hypershine Gloss in Fairy

this stuff costs $1! ONE DOLLAR. and it stays on my lips forever! and it smells like cotton candy! obviously, it's not as high quality as the first two, but it gets the job done and the price can't be beat!

reason #753 why i love the internets.

if you follow me on twitter, (and if you don't, you should!) you probably saw a few several A LOT of tweets from me about my frantic search for a specific shirt.

Jason Wu for Target® Short-Sleeve Tee with Cat Print in Cream

this was not one of the jason wu for target items that i originally planned on purchasing, but the more i saw it, the more i wanted it.

so obviously everything sold out pretty quickly on launch day, just like it did with missoni. i didn't get the skirt i originally wanted, but i did get another one, which i now like more than the one i planned on getting. but i couldn't find that darn cat tee anywhere! 

i eventually found myself joining a group on facebook created for wu fans to buy, swap, and sell wu items for retail price ONLY. this group helped SO many people get ahold of the products they wanted and also did major damage to those awful ebay people who buy everything up then sell them at jacked up prices. many of their auctions were ending with zero bids! HA! anyways, the bad thing was that i was seeing a bunch of people wanting the cat tee and i was hearing that the tee runs big. that meant that an XS would be really hard to find.

so what's a girl to do?

ask her twitter friends for help!

so many of you checked your local target stores for me and for that i am so thankful.

my hope was wearing thin, but my friend amber who lives in IOWA (aka- middle of nowhere) was able to find my beloved cat tee!!

and THAT is reason #753 why i love the internets: 

it connects you with really nice people who can make your dreams come true!

sooo.. you might have heard about the jason wu collaboration..

and i might have stayed up til 1:30am trying to get my hands on a skirt when they started releasing the items online..

and i MIGHT have been LIVID when i finally got that skirt added to my cart and then it disappeared when i clicked 'check out'..

ANYWAYS..

last week, i was able to buy this skirt when it was briefly back in stock online in my size.
