this week, i tried out nail strips for the first time! took a while to put them on and i obviously didn't get them on perfectly, but i really like them! i guess we'll see how long they last! have you ever tried nail strips? what do you think?

to BB or not to BB..
So.. I've been wanting to try a Beauty Balm (aka BB Cream). I've been hearing all about them and you know I like to stay hip to the trends. You may be wondering, what is Beauty Balm? It's a foundation-primer-moisturizer hybrid and apparently they have been super popular in Asia for years. They are finally catching on here in the U.S.. I hear that they are great for your skin and give you a flawless finish. My only problem is that I can't decide which one to try out.

ok, this was the 'gossip girl' box. i had high expectations. i seriously hoped to open my box and find chuck bass inside. obviously that did not happen. i was thrilled to receive a full size stila eyeliner, but felt kinda 'eh' about the other samples. i am really not a fan of receiving perfumes in my boxes, but it keeps happening. i really wish i had gotten a sample of the BB cream. guess i can't complain too much since i received a full size product valued at over $20!
