unplug and unwind.
have you ever reached that point when you're just tired and stressed and overwhelmed and just really need to get away? i reached that point last week and was so thankful that i had already requested last friday off work and that we had plans to go to san antonio with my family for my sister's graduation.
the time away from all the stress was SO needed. i not only used this little weekend trip as a chance to unwind, but also as a chance to unplug. i purposely left my computer at home and spent very little time on social media except instagram this weekend.
while 'unplugged', i spent plenty of time with my family and the hubs, shopped a little, ate too much, and even ended up at a tattoo parlor. no, i didn't get a tattoo, because they said what i wanted wouldn't look good. so now i need to decide on something else.
i really needed this weekend and the chance to unwind and unplug. i love blogging and all the friends i've made through it, but sometimes you just need to take a step back. after that little break, i'm feeling refreshed and revived! i'll be back to tweeting like crazy because tonight is the gossip girl finale and the bachelorette is back!!! SO excited!!

I know just how you feel - I am super stressed at the moment and have lost my blogging time because of it! I have a date marked when things should hopefully (fingers crossed) calm down and I can get back to normal again. Cannot wait! :)

I feel you on unplugging every once in awhile. It can seriously consume your life (social media and blogging) if you let it. I am glad you are recharged. Sorry about not being able to get the tattoo. Better to be safe than sorry! You and the sis looked adorable! Gotta love the Webster!! ;)
