alabama vacation: round 2!
just like last summer, my family made the long drive to orange beach, alabama for vacation! let me tell you, driving through 4 states in 1 day is really no fun, but it was all worth it once we got there and got to spend 7 days in our fabulous condo. this vacation was much needed for all of us and even though it rained the first 2 days, we still had a blast!
one of the last days we were there, we rented a boat and just cruised around the bay. we saw a ton of dolphins and my sister and i were flipping out because we LOVE dolphins! we saw more dolphins while on our little boat than we did when we paid for an official dolphin cruise last year! it was crazy!
it was an amazing trip and i'm sure we'll be back next year!

LOVE Gulf Shores. It is my favorite summer spot, been almost every year (with exception of this one) since I was 2. Did yall stay at the Carribe? Right on the intercoastal?

You were down in my neck of the woods! It is really pretty there, and you lucked out that it wasn't this week with the hurricane moving in.
Next summer you should drive to southern california instead :)
Being DEAD serious, please send me the info on this place. So much closer than driving to Destin. It looks beautiful and I want to go next summer. No rush, but want to know the goods and bads. I am so happy you guys had fun and got to see so many dolphins. I would have jumped in with them! ;)

wow i love the ocean! love your pictures! my husband and I saw dolphins in virginia beach and thought they were sharks at first because of their fins. :)
So glad you enjoyed the beach! I love Alabama beaches - I feel like we have it awesome being just 4-5 hours away all the time!

I fricken Love it down there!! We go to Gulf shores/Fort Morgan and rent a house on the beach for a week with my aunt and uncle and cousins.
I love Orange Beach! We used to have a condo in Gulf Shores.
