my homies and i have started ourselves a fantasy football league! what do i know about football/fantasy football?? NOTHING. i'm sure this is going to be an interesting experience. i'm normally not too competitive, but a sephora gift card is going to the winner, so things could get ugly!
i've already given myself the award for best team name/mascot. allow me to introduce you to my team:

I'm on my 4th year in a fantasy league & I swear I count down to it every year. It is so incredibly fun & addicting. It brings out some good 'ol competition amongst all of us. I don't really have draft advice, but I will say, stay on top of your line-up. I've seen so many of our girls forget to set their line-up early enough week after week. It sucks when someone on your bench has an amazing week & you forgot to put them in your lineup. : ( Good luck & Have fun!! Can't wait to see how you guys like it!

I love your mascot haha!! My BF is in TWO fantasy leagues and I know close to nothing about football either.
LOVE fantasy... Here are my tips:
Make a list.
Depending on your pick, just go through that list and pick the top rated players.
You'll want a top notch QB if you can get one.
Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady.. If you are able to get one of them first round, DO SO.
If they happen to be gone, go for a solid RB like Arian Foster, Ray Rice, Darren McFadden, Chris Johnson, LeSean McCoy...
THEN go for some WR and TE - like Jimmy Graham (TE from New Orleans) or Rob Gronkowski (TE from New England)...
WR - you have a buttload.. Andre Johnson, Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, Greg Jennings, Wes Welker, Hakeen Nicks, Roddy White, AJ Green...
And I tried to order them respectively. (who I think would be the best choice)
Like I said, make a list.. It will be your best friend.

Oh how fun!!! Nate plays in like 4 leagues, it's kinda ridiculous. I always ask to play every year, but he tells me no :( I think he's just afraid that I might beat him!! ;)

LOVE your mascot! I'm in my 3rd year with an all-girls league- basically our bfs/husbands are in a league, and we didn't want to be left out so we created our own! My team name is Pussy Wagon (from Kill Bill). Our draft is tonight too- and I totally agree with Lauren's comment (at least those are the picks that all of the FF magazines suggest!). I love fantasy football! We just had our big draft party on Sunday! 12 girls in our league! Our league is called Touchdowns and Tiaras. Last year's winner sported a tiara all night. Classy. Blitz and Glamour is my team name. I love yours :)
Tara, you def win for the best name and graphic design...freaking AWESOME!! Okay, here is my tip...and this WORKED for me during March Madness...pick players from teams where you want to visit...like you wanna go to NOLA, then pick Drew Brees as your QB....I swear i rocked my March Madness bracket with this GENIUS idea!!! hahahha, I LOVE the name! I'm so not into football at all, I'm a basketball fan personally, but all of the girlfriends/wives of our husband/boyfriends group (did that even make sense? Ehhh who cares) every year consider doing a league together. Mostly we're just too lazy to set it up and do any research but maybe next year we'll get around to it. Good luck!!!
