here's what i got in my august box:
(descriptions taken from the birchbox website)
If there’s anything we love, it’s getting the best of both worlds. Noir’s stay-put black eyeliner combines the ease of a pencil with the drama of a liquid liner. It glides on like a velvety crayon and doesn’t shift, fade, or run. Plus, the waterproof formula means that your perfectly defined eyes will last through a tearjerker movie, flash rainstorm, or your best friend’s wedding.
Leonor Greyl Shampooing Moelle de Bambou
Whether you’ve got normal hair that just needs a little moisture or distressed strands that have been heat styled one too many times, this nourishing formula will restore softness and shine. The formula is enriched with protective proteins and rejuvenating botanicals, which helps it condition as it cleanses. It works for all hair types but is especially magically on dehydrated strands. We love its light lavender scent.
Leonor Greyl Masque Fleurs de Jasmin
Sometimes conditioner alone just doesn’t cut it. This restorative hair mask steps in to restore dry, stressed hair and bring it back to its usual glossy self. It’s formulated with botanical boosters and proteins that nourish all hair types while also adding loads of shine. If you have thick hair, feel free to apply every other day.For fine hair, keep it to once a week. And you should know: the light floral fragrance is totally refreshing.
DDF® Brightening Cleanser Even when you don’t have blemishes, there are other complexion nuisances to deal with—namely, sun spots, acne scars, and age spots. Instead of just concealing them, call in this gentle gel cleanser. Developed by a leading dermatologist, the targeted formula uses a team of natural skin brighteners, including licorice root and mulberry bark, to even out your complexion and lighten discolorations. Over time, you’ll have noticeably smoother, brighter skin. Now you just need to hold up your end of the bargain by using it every day.
Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy La Fleur
Give your fragrance wardrobe an update with this new scent from Juicy Couture. A fresh update on the brand’s best-selling Viva La Juicy, the sheer perfume has the original’s fruity top notes combined with heady honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine. Trust us, once you start wearing it you’ll have it in heavy rotation. It has plenty of eye candy appeal too: the keepsake glass bottle comes bedecked with a pink ribbon.
Schick Hydro Silk Razor
Made with an innovative compact oval-cartridge head, each razor is equipped with five blades for an incredibly close shave. The blades work with your legs’ natural curves to make shaving tricky spots like your knees and ankles a breeze. Our favorite part? The water-activated moisturizing serum has marine extracts and shea butter and hydrates your skin.
this box was pretty good. i was really excited about the cleanser, eyeliner, and razor. all very practical items that i would definitely buy again. i am pretty sure that i have mentioned before that i hate getting perfume samples in my box, so i wasn't thrilled about getting another one. the hair products are good, but i normally don't stray from my usual tresemme products and i definitely don't splurge on hair products, so i won't buy these full size. overall, a good box!
