Fashion Trends for Fall: 'Future Perfect'!
Fashion Trends for Fall: 'Future Perfect'
{via}
If you want to be “fashion-forward”, then this fall’s “future perfect” trend is the perfect match for you. Futuristic styles were seen on the runways of designers such as Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney, and Haaken to name just a few. Net-a-Porter describes this modern trend as having “high-shine leather, spray-on pants and sharp peplums,” and when it comes to accessories, “metallic accessories add extra space age appeal.” Future perfect is minimal and bold- fitted, but impossible to blend in a crowd. This look is high-shine, metallic, studded, sequined, printed, colorful, geometric, and above all, out there.
How to Look Future Perfect:

This look requires commitment from head to toe. Many everyday fabrics have been transformed in ways we’ve never seen before; leather is metallic-coated, jeans are coated with glitter, and pencil skirts are made of PVC. Fabrics are also being combined in new, unique ways: dresses combine twill and velvet, neon-mesh and wool felt, and leather with silk for a look that’s sleek and shiny. Silhouettes are relatively form-fitting- pencil skirts, skinny pants, fitted jackets, and choker necklaces. When it comes to shoes, let Lady Gaga be your muse; in other words, the more out there, the better. Look for shoes that appear to defy gravity and be impossible to walk in 5 inch pumps with transparent heels or contoured wedges that appear to be engineered so that if you even slightly lean back, you’ll fall over. If the previously-mentioned pair of wedges should happen to be covered in spikes and encrusted with crystals, that’s even better. For jewelry and bags, look for geometric pieces. Clutches are a perfect pairing with this style because they’re rigidly rectangular. As for jewelry, you’ll have to really make a statement if you want your pieces to stand out against your already out there apparel. For this look, less is more in quantity, but not in size.

Perfect Hair for the Future and Present:
The perfect hairstyle to accompany the futuristic look is actually quite minimal. Hair should be long, incorporate hair extensions, parted in the center, sleek and polished with a light serum, and worn down. Make sure your hair extensions come in a really long length and then when you have your hair stylist sew them into your locks he or she can layer them into your locks accordingly. Although the styling is simple, it’s the exaggeratedly long length of your hair that’s needed to counterbalance to boldness of this trend.

With your long tresses and a futuristic style there's no doubt that you'll be ready to take your future by storm. So embrace a future perfect look and become future perfect you!
