can we talk about how excited i am that the colored denim trend is sticking around? last year i picked up both red and cobalt blue skinnies, but i was a little hesitant to stock up on a bunch of colored denim because i wasn't quite sure the trend would last. well, here we are over a year later and not only is colored denim still in, but now we've got even more fun denim to wear like printed denim (animal prints, floral, etc)!
last week, i picked up a pair of green skinnies that i think will be quite a staple in my fall wardrobe. i've gotta admit that i doubt that these will be the last pair of colored denim i buy- i'm thinking i'll get purple skinnies next! i just love that throwing on these jeans is a quick, easy way to brighten up your whole outfit.
i know many of you don't think you can pull off colored denim or don't know how to wear them, but let me tell you: YOU CAN PULL IT OFF. most of the time i pair my colored denim with a solid colored shirt and a fun bag or shoes. so easy! see:

I have a pair of red skinnies ... but seeing that skinny is not in my vocab, I've worn them once, with a long, semi-flowy top ... I'll get more brave after I lose this piano I've been draggin' along the last year or two :)

I have no colored denim whatsoever...but I'm gonna get me some, even if my Husband isn't too fond of it. He'll just have to get used to it, b/c I LOVE IT!

Colored denim looks cute on svelte gals such as yourself, but I have yet to see a single pair on a plus-size gal like me (who needs it to not be low-rise, as well). :(

I like the magenta and both green pairs. I bought a pair of purple ones from LOFT that I have worn a couple of times and like. I've never purchased pants from Old Navy so don't even know what size I would be. I've hear d alot of people size up one or even two sizes. Is that what you do?

I am right there with you! Except I can't wear the ON ones...momma has had to go elsewhere to find colored denim. I am so pumped they have stuck around!! Adding to my collection as we speak! ;)
These are actually on sale starting today for under $20!! I paid 34.50 last week but going this weekend to get the difference and to pick up another pair! :)
