last week, i witnessed the most beautiful sunrise i've ever seen. i think many fellow houstonians agreed because my twitter, instagram and facebook feeds all blew up with beautiful pictures of tuesday's sunrise. i was in complete awe of the beauty around me as i drove to work. this sunrise was just what i needed to remind me to stop and appreciate how blessed i am. instead of focusing on running late or awful traffic, i need to be thankful that i'm alive and well, and though sometimes life may not go as planned, it's important to remember that i've been blessed to have all of my needs met and so many of my wants within reach.

What a gorgeous photo! Such a true message as well! It's easy to get caught up in the hurry up and go and the stress in everyday life but we all have to remember to slow down take in the view and be thankful for all we have. Thanks for sharing!!

this is amazing. from picture to words. everyone needs a healthy dose of appreciating the little things in life. we are all blessed beyond measure and sometimes it's as simple as the coloring in the sky to make us reflect on that!

We really have been getting exceptional sunsets lately. Lovely!
That really is such an incredible picture. I can only imagine having seen it in person! It's funny when facebook/twitter/instagram are flooded with the same thing; that happens whenever there's an earthquake hear. Sometimes when I feel a shake, I look at facebook to make sure it was an earthquake. :)

Uh, yes! Yes! And yes!!! Let's all appreciate God's skies...it is seriously my new obsession to take pictures of them...I am been stopping to enjoy them all lately.
