today i want to share with you my review along with swatches of the new urban decay vice palette. this palette includes 20 never before seen shades in one large palette. it contains a mix of mattes, satins, shimmers, neutrals, and brights. the range of colors in this palette amazing! this palette comes in a soft touch case. with the push of a button, the lid slowly opens and remains open. it also includes a large mirror and a duel-ended crease and shadow brush.
here's a look at the swatches:
natural light. no flash.
artificial light. with flash.

(TOP RIGHT) Junkie (dark green-blue w/gold shimmer), Chaos (vibrant royal blue w/very subtle shimmer), Unhinged (electric turquoise blue metallic), Occupy (dark grey-blue metallic), Black Market (dark charcoal black matte-satin)

in my professional (HA!) opinion, urban decay is the best eyeshadow out there. this is my 3rd urban decay palette, and after being somewhat let down by the too faced return of sexy palette, i don't think i'll ever stray from UD again. as is standard for UD eyeshadow, these shadows are highly pigmented and very blendable. the packaging is sturdy and i like it much better than that of the naked and naked2 palettes. the palette includes a high quality brush that is great for travel. my favorite part of this palette is the large spectrum of colors. i am trying to expand my eyeshadow horizons and welcome in more bold colors and this palette is perfect for the job. it is the perfect mix of neutrals and brights. it includes both matte and sparkle and the colors are versatile and can be used to create a wide range of looks. the only negative thing i have to say is that even though these shadows are all a new and improved shadow formula, there is still glitter fallout on some of these shades. also, there are no exact duplicates in this palette but a few of the shades do look similar to existing UD eyeshadows.
overall, i am highly satisfied with the quality of this palette. i have said it before and i'll say it again, i am an urban decay customer for life.

I love this palette! I was originally going to get this one for Christmas from my Hubby, but I decided to get the Book of Shadows that was on clearance for $39 instead. He has it put up for Christmas and I am SO tempted to just go grab it. While I love my naked palette, I need more color in my life. : )
ps> We have talked about this before, but I SO agree with you. Urban Decay is the only eyeshadow I will buy now.
wow! Best shades out there!! I agree but I also think like you said, the naked palette is better for me with my skin tone.
I love it! I want to send you a list of things to review so I never have to buy any makeup that isn't FBE approved.
I find the chunky glitter to be too much fallout for my liking in some of UD shadows, but I can forgive that for the most part. These look pretty. Please do some looks you created with the palette (particularly the electric blue and hot pink - I have no idea how I would wear that)!!!
I complete agree with you - UD custome for life! Love this palette so much, although I managed to break the spring loaded lid =(
Those colors are awesome...I love the blue colors but I'd look like an 80's hooker.
I just got the Naked2 palette and love it! I love all the colors on this one, but I am not sure that I would know what to do with them...
i love love love all of these
so bright
Oh those colors are SO pretty!
Love these colors! I am majorly in need of expanding my horizons of color as well...I tend to stick to only a small handful of neutrals. Maybe I should convince the hubby that I "need" this :)
Love it! So glad you shared this. I have yet to find an eyeshadow better than UD. Such a great palette!
adding this to my xmas list! Thank you!
XOXO
These colors are awesome!
You had me sold a looooong time ago!!! I can't wait to get my little hands on this...come on Santa Claus!! :) Love the colors!! UD 4 life! ;)
Sooo pretty! I'm not gutsy enough to rock the blues but i still love em!
Love this! Now I want to see pictures with some of the bolder colors on your eyes. I'm all for neutrals, dark browns, and all shades of purple (I have green eyes) . . . but I'm kinda scared of the bright colors. I want to see how you'd apply them so maybe I can get the nerve, too!
Clearly I now need this palette. This might have to be a Christmas list item. :)
i have 10+ urban decay eye shadow palettes and over 15+ single eye shadows and they definitely have to be my favorite brands too! i got this when it first came out <3

Great review! I've been torn of late between the Naked/Naked 2 palettes and recently saw this UD Vice palette online...just added to my trouble deciding! But after seeing your swatches & review...this UD Vice palette looks like a winner, it's got such a wide range of colours! Love it and thanks for helping me decide which to put on my Xmas list haha! :)
Those colors are vibrant! I always want to buy a palette but I'd only use like 3 colors. Do you mix it up and use them all?
